Evan hails from the Midwest born and raised in Richmond, IN. At an early age he began playing guitar which led to a fascination with anything that could be played or make a sound. Struck by the recording bug in high school, Evan soon acquired a love for analog recording techniques from the '50's and '60's and desired to make a career out of recording and making music. He attended Purdue University graduating in 2003 with a BA in Audio Engineering and moved to Seattle, WA.
While in Seattle Evan composed music and played various instruments for local theatre productions working under BHC Recording, the music production studio he founded while in college.
The most recent chapter in Evan's life has opened up in Eau Claire, WI where he plans to expand BHC Recording with a new recording facility and focus on creativity and community.
